Guidelines for Referees
| It is intended that APJCE will
provide a
professional and highly efficient mode of communication for researchers
and practitioners of cooperative education in the Asia-Pacific region. In
order to fulfill this objective it is essential that we deliver an
appropriate level of service to our contributors and readers. All refereeing of manuscripts
is carried out by members of the editorial board. In order to provide
excellent service to our readers and contributors, it is expected
that editors who act as referees will produce their reports promptly.
Please note the following: |
|
| 1. | Editors are requested to acknowledge receipt of manuscripts to the Editor-in-Chief within 24 hours. |
| 2. | Editors should aim to provide reports within three weeks of receipt of manuscripts. All referees reports should be submitted using the appropriate forms provided on the website. If a referee requires major revision of a manuscript, the manuscript may be sent by post or fax to the Editor-in-Chief , Dr Richard K. Coll, School of Science & Technology, Private Bag 3105, Hamilton, New Zealand, fax: (64) 7-838 4218. |
| 3. | For the journal to maintain credibility, reviewing should be rigorous. Specific comments required are detailed in the referees report forms available on the website. Referees are requested to pay particular attention to the citation and bibliographical listing of references in all manuscripts. |
| 4. | Wherever appropriate, referees should make constructive recommendations to authors. In particular, if resubmission is recommended , any modifications required should be clearly detailed. |
