The Journal closely affiliated with a number of professional organizations, notable the New Zealand Association for Cooperative Education who provide funds for the initiation of the Journal. There are a number of active professional organizations in the Asia-Pacific region that seek to advance the cause of cooperative education in their countries. Such organizations also commonly act as host for Asia-Pacific Regional conferences. |

The New Zealand Association for Cooperative Education (NZACE) Hosts annual NZACE conferences. NZACE also is regular host for biennial Asia-Pacific WACE conferences held in the region. NZACE publishes regular newsletters and holds a number of useful data bases on cooperative education programs in New Zealand along with other useful resources. |

Cooperative Education and Internship Association Inc. (CEIA) US-based, hosts an annual meeting. The CEIA together with WACE is responsible for publication of the Journal of Cooperative Education. |

Southern African Society for Cooperative Education (SASCE) Members include Dr. Thomas Groenewald, Dr Gawie Engelbrecht and in 2002 Dr Louis Engelbrecht awarded was the McLaren award for his contributions to the management of cooperative education in the Republic. |

Canadian Association for Cooperative Education (CAFCE) Canada is one of the most influential countries for cooperative education. Holding a long history and greatly influential in the development of work-based learning, universities such as the University of Waterloo are world famous for innovation in the area of work-based learning. The CAFCE is the Canadian organization that seeks to enhance and develop cooperative education in Canada. |

World Association for Cooperative Education (WACE) WACE is the international body responsible for promoting cooperative education world-wide. Based in Boston in the USA, WACE is responsible for biennial conferences and also supports some of the Asia-Pacific regional conferences. |
